WALK FOR WATER 2009 A SUCCESS!

Water for Waslala's (WfW) fifth annual walk for water, which took place on April 19 at Villanova University, was another inspiring and successful event!

This year, WfW was blessed with beautiful weather and over 350 passionate participants, who helped WfW raise over $17,500!

We are very grateful to this year's sponsors, including KPMG, BNY Mellon, SEER Interactive, Ernst & Young, Delaware Investments, Pine Street Carpenters, Specialty Design & Manufacturing, STP Investment Services, and Keystone Tees.

Special thanks also goes to our top team fundraiser and recruiter, Tom Eckerle, who raised nearly $3,000 and recruited over 75 walkers from Holy Ghost Prep in Bensalem, PA, and our top individual fundraiser, Elise Tosun, who raised $500!

We would also like to thank all of the people who helped make the event a success, including the WfW student group at Villanova University, Engineers without Borders, Villanova President Father Peter Donohue, and Villanova Dining Services. WfW truly appreciates your hard work!

For those who have not yet donated this year to our cause, WfW needs your contributions to help us reach our goal of raising $30,000. If you are able, please take a moment to make a tax-deductible contribution now . Only $25 provides one Waslalan just like yourself with clean water for life!

We hoped you enjoyed participating in our walk, and we are proud to have you alongside us as we fight for the poor of Waslala, Nicaragua.

We look forward to seeing you next April for our SIXTH annual Walk for Water!
